Little House is proud to be registered with At Home Childcare — an Ofsted-registered agency that supports high-quality early years care and education across the country.
We chose to be part of At Home Childcare because of their flexible, family-focused approach and their commitment to maintaining excellent standards in a way that supports, rather than disrupts, day-to-day care. As a founding member of the At Home Childcare family, we’ve been part of their journey from the very beginning.
What makes this even more special is the level of quality behind the grading.
Little House has achieved three consecutive “Outstanding” inspections, and At Home Childcare has been inspected directly by Ofsted and awarded the highest possible grading available to childminding agencies.
This means our “Outstanding” judgement isn’t just a standalone rating — it is supported and quality-assured by an agency operating at the very highest level recognised by Ofsted (Click to see their latest report). In simple terms, it’s excellence backed by the best.

What does this mean for you and your child?
Being registered with At Home Childcare means we are still regulated by Ofsted, but through the agency. Our setting is inspected more frequently than many traditional nurseries — we have:
-
A full inspection every three years (click for our 3rd “Outstanding!!!” inspection in a row)
-
An interim inspection every year in between

This ensures that our standards are not just maintained but continually reviewed, challenged, and supported. It also means we benefit from ongoing professional development, safeguarding oversight, and expert guidance from a team that truly understands settings like ours.
In short — you get all the reassurance of Ofsted oversight, backed by more frequent checks, stronger support, and the highest-rated agency framework behind everything we do.
If you have any questions about our registration or how inspections work, just ask — we’re always happy to chat!
