Welcome to the Little House!
It's lovely to meet you. My name is Emma. I am 29 years old and I'm a degree level qualified, (soon to be) Ofsted registered childminder.
I am a fun loving, caring mummy to my 10 month old son, Charlie, and I live with my beloved husband, Jonathan, and our dopey old dog, Mickey. We live in a bungalow in the quiet village of Brinsley, Nottingham.
I offer care and education in a safe, happy and stimulating environment with the familiar comforts of home, including healthy, home cooked meals.
I'm paediatric 1st aid trained, food safety and hygiene certified, and fully DBS checked. I hold a full UK driving license and have all the appropriate insurance.
My past experience includes:
-
Employment as a nursery nurse
-
Employment as an after school playworker
-
Volunteer work in a Surestart children's centre
-
Volunteer work in an orphanage
-
Volunteer work in infant and primary schools as a classroom assistant
I am an enthusiastic, reliable, organised and honest individual with a flair for fun!. I offer fun learning activities to encourage development in all the areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage and encourage regular communication with parents about this progress.
I understand that choosing someone to look after your children is a difficult, sometimes daunting task which is why I believe that building a strong, trusting relationship with your chosen carer is essential. I will try to be as accomodating as I can, as I know how challenging it is to juggle the demands of work and parenting.
Please feel free to contact me with any enquiries. I look forward to hearing from you.
